 4D/3N house boat trip to Kenyir - starting on Saturday 26th May 2012

Tasik Kenyir is the largest man-made lake in South East Asia. It was constructed between 1978 and 1985, for generating electricity and the dam holds approximately 23.6 million cubic meters of water, occupying 38,000 hectares. There are 30 rivers feeding the lake, 25 waterfalls and at least 25 known species of fish. 

The lush tropical forest surrounding the lake is home to more than 8000 species of flowers, 2500 species of plants and trees and 300 species of fungi. Adding to the exotic colours are 800 butterflies, 370 species of orchids, 1000 species of birds and 200 species of other animals. There are also limestone caves and lush tropical rain forests.  


Details are:-

v  4 days, 3 nights trip from Saturday 26th to Tuesday 29th May, inclusive.

v  The boat can catered for a total of 23 persons in four bedrooms and a large area with 6 beds.

v  Price for per person is RM350, plus RM10 for Kelah Sanctuary, and will include 3 meals/day with free flow of coffee/tea. Children below the age of 12, when accompanied by at least one adult, will be charged RM200 each.

v  Package includes visits to Bewah Cave, Lasir and Sauk Waterfalls, Kelah Sanctuary plus fishing.

Places are available on a first come, first served basis for members, with non-members charged an additional RM60 (refundable on joining MNS).

Meet at Ayer Keroh Toll Plaza @ 06: 00hrs  or later at 13:30hrs at Kuala Berang on Saturday 26th May 2012  . Please arrange your own transport to Kenyir, car pool where possible.

Closing date is May 19th 2012 with RM100 deposit (non returnable).
