In conjunction with the inauguration on 13th March 2012 of Pengkalan Bird Sanctuary by the Melaka Chief Minister, a Photographic Competition is being held. It is situated on and easily viewed from Jalan Melaka Pindah, Alor Gajah (M8) midway between Lebuh AMJ and Jalan Alor Gajah Lama (N 2o 22' 21", E 102o 13'10").
